Break

I've decided that I need to take a bit of a break from blogging - not that I've been doing a whole lot in the past month anyway. I'm finding that I don't have any spare time lately & things that need to get done aren't getting done. I feel like I'm spinning in circles and accomplishing nothing so I have to get things back in order. Thanksgiving is this weekend, and I don't have one teeny tiny plan or idea for anything, so I've got to get going on that. I'm trying to complete a course for work & I don't seem to have enough study time; my house needs a cleaning; I need to get some exercise, etc. etc. etc. I've decided that I have to let some things fall by the side for the time being until I feel that I've got things caught up and under control. When time allows, I will pop by blogs to visit & perhaps leave a comment. I'll continue to take food pictures ('cause I'm still going to be eating) and I should have a good portfolio ready for my return. Cheers!

Carrie, I totally understand. I'm also overloaded as well. I guess for me blogging is a bit of a vacation.

At any rate we'll miss you, but hopefully you can get organized with the extra time.

I'll drop you a line on Facebook once in awhile and hopefully we'll still get some Scrabble time!

Good wishes for you Carrie! I completely understand. I too haven't been blogging much lately and I often think about throwing in the towel completely but I find myself so hopelessly addicted. I've taken a few month-long breaks before and it was veyr refreshing.

Enjoy your break, Carrie, and good luck with all of your "to-do"s! I know how that goes sometimes . . . !

Oh hon, I truly sympathize! Take a deep breath, do things you like to do first, and then take the rest as it comes. The one thing about tasks/work: either they disappear or they wait for you, right? :) I always enjoy checking in here to see what you've been up to LOL - all that lovely wine, all those nice restaurants! - so I'll keep doing it so that I don't miss your return, whenever you decide that the time is right.

Huge hugs, Carrie, and love! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Enjoy our blog-cation, Carrie. I'll miss you but I totally understand. Makes me think I should do the same thing.

aww, I'm sorry that you won't be blogging too much anymore; but trust me, I know how overwhelming daily schedules/tasks can get, so you certainly deserve a break. Take care, and I do hope you'll pop back into the blogging world from time to time :0)

Happy Thanksgiving, Carrie! And I hope your time away from the blogosphere is all you need it to be. No guilt, ever, about not blogging--it shouldn't be an obligatory thing but something that you enjoy and that doesn't add to your stress level! Take care. ::hugs::

We'll miss you, Carrie! This is definitely a more hectic time of year.. sometimes I think if I took a blog vacation, I'd get more schoolwork done! No, I KNOW I would. So good luck with everything, and don't stress yourself out. xo

Have a nice break! I have been silently wandering around blogland again since my full-time re-entry in to the workforce and the cooler weather that is driving me into the kitchen.
